First of all download and install Android Assistant from Google Play Store.
Once Installed open Android Assistant and head over to “Tools“.
In Tools click on Backup & Restore option.


There locate The Walking Dead Season 1 App and click on it and then click on Backup button .


Now open your file explorer app (my recommendation would be to use ES Explorer ) and head over Android/obb folder. ( Fix File Validation Failed Error )
There you will find the Game’s data folder, if you are ES Explorer user then you can locate the Game’s Data folder quite easily as you will see the Game’s icon on the specific folder but if you aren’t using ES Explorer then using your Laptop/PC head over to Google Play Store and there search for your app for example The Walking Dead, now just notice the URL ” https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.telltalegames.walkingdead100&hl=en ” , this will be the Game’s Data Folder name.
Now simply cut and paste this folder in some other location and then uninstall the Game App.


Restart your device.
Open Android Assistant App and head over to Tools>Backup & Restore > Click to install The Walking Dead Season 1 App.
Don’t open the app now, first of all open up your file explorer app and again cut and paste the Game’s Data folder back to Android/obb folder.
Now open the Game App and you will no more seeand hence Fix File Validation Failed Error anymore.
