Briefly, the 80/20 rule states that 20% of an activity contains the significant
80% of what is important to the activity, resulting in the Pareto Principle that postulates
for many phenomena, 80% of the consequences stem from 20% of the causes.
So a Pareto analysis statistically examines distributions of items and ranks them
according to their frequency of occurrence. Often, this analysis results in a representation
called a Pareto diagram (Figure 6.1) pictured to show Module 1 causing most
of the problems to the system
