Dear CASS Participant Airlines,

Please be advised that further to Bank Indonesia Regulation NUMBER 17/3/PBI/2015, effective 31st March 2015 with grace period 1st July 2015, issued by Central Bank of Indonesia, instructing the sole use of Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), it is mandatory that all CASS transactions should only be done in IDR effective 1st July 2015.

Effectiveness of this new regulation would mean that the agency remittance and airline settlement will be made only in IDR. Accordingly, the first settlement to airlines, under the new regulation, will be made on 13th August 2015 for the reporting cycle 201513 (1‐15JULY2015).

At this stage, though IATA had written to Indonesia Central Bank requesting for a further extended grace period to implement this, to‐date, IATA had not received any feedback on this.
Our records show that, currently your CASS airline settlement is made into a local USD account in Indonesia. Therefore we write to kindly request you to provide us with a bank mandate in IDR to affect the future settlements effective 13th August 2015.

We would appreciate if you please submit your details latest by 10th July 2015, in order for us to update the processing systems and carry out the necessary testing prior to your first settlement in IDR.
