once, there live Ansa. he was the king of Calabar for fifty years. there where a lot of servant around him. he had a very faithfull cat as a housekeeper , and a rat as his house-boy. the king was anobstinate man but was very found of the cat, which had been in his store for many years.
the rat, which was very poor and had nothing except love feeling, fell in love with one of the king's servants but unable to give any present. he then tought of the king's store. so in the night time, being quite small, he had little bravery to get into the store. he silently stole corn and native pears, and presented them to his sweetheart to show his deeply love

Ia sangat faithfull kucing sebagai pembantu rumah tangga, dan tikus sebagai anaknya rumah.
