Jodha had barely slept that night.

Jodha had barely slept that night. She stayed awake till almost 3 am completing the report. Even though the report was due on Wednesday, she completed it beforehand. Jodha was very sincere about her work and did not believe in leaving things for the last minute.

It was a bright and sunny morning. Jodha got up feeling groggy. Her eyes clearly showed lack of sleep and exhaustion. However, inspite of all this, she got up and proceeded with her chores for the day. She took a bath and prayed to Kanha. She then got dressed. Today, she was wearing a blue shirt and a pair of charcoal-coloured trousers. She tied up her hair in a ponytail. She looked as fresh as a flower and her face showed no signs of the toil she underwent the previous night. She took her lunch tiffin and left her home for office.

Jodha soon reached the reception area of her office after punching-in for the day. She greeted Ruqaiyya.

Jodha - Good morning

Ruqaiyya - Good morning, ma'am

Jodha - Offo! Don't call me ma'am please! Just call ma Jodha!

Ruqaiyya - Okay, Jodha

Jodha then chatted with Ruqaiyya for a while and headed to her working desk. Jalal on the other hand had already reached office before her and was waiting for her arrival. He stood behind the glass partition in his cabin and looking through the blinds occasionally to check whether she had arrived or not. On her arrival, he signalled Salima, to tell Jodha to come to his cabin. Jodha left her working desk and entered his cabin. Jalal's eyes widened with joy when he saw her outfit.

Jalal (to himself) - Oh Jodha! I must say that you have a great dressing sense! Anything you wear makes you look hot! But still why do you tie up that hair of yours? Open hair make you look so sensuous and seductive!

Jodha - Mr President, you called?

Jalal - Yes Jodha. I hope that you haven't forgotten about the report and presentation tomorrow

Jodha - Yes, Mr President. I have completed both the things before schedule

Jalal was shocked. He did not expect Jodha to complete the work in just one day. He knew that she must have stayed up the previous night completing the work.But her face did not show any signs of tiredness.

Jalal (thinking) - Wow Hottie! You really are something! I created so much trouble for you. In spite of that you completed the work! But now I will have to think of something else to trouble you! (to Jodha) - Well the thing is that Jodha, you will have to present it today itself!

Jodha was shocked at the sudden change in plan. She didn't expect Jalal to tell her to present today.

Jodha - But Mr President! I have not prepared at all! How can I present like this!

Jalal - I have told you this before as well, it is an order not a request! I will give you an hour to prepare if you wish but you must present it today!

Jodha - But Mr President may I know the reason for this sudden decision?

Jalal - That is for me to know and you to guess. Now go and prepare, I want to see you in the conference room in one hour!

Jodha - Okay Mr President

Jodha left the cabin on the verge of crying. Jalal was giving her a very hard time. She had not expected this sudden challenge.

Jodha (to herself) - How can he do this? President ho company ke toh kuch bhi kar sakte ho kya! I don't have any words for him. He is a Jallad of unimaginable proportions! His only aim is to see my downfall. But I will not let that happen. I am a Rajputani and I don't get scared of anything! Jalal on the other hand was waiting in his cabin and had an evil grin on his face. He knew preparing for a presentation in one hour was a tough thing to do. But still his only aim was to get back at Jodha for his insult. She had bruised his ego and no one had ever dared to that! He wondered how the entire presentation would pan out with Jodha inadequately prepared for it.

Jalal (to himself) - Oh Jodha, I want to see the pain on your face after you fail at that presentation! I will be truly victorious then!

Suddenly, Benazir enters the cabin. She hugs him and notices that he grinning in an evil manner.

Benazir - Kya hua, Jalal? Such an evil smile, kisi ko marne ka iraada hai kya?

Jalal - Haan bas yun hi samjh lo! I have a murderous streak today!

Benazir - Who is your victim then? Salima? Adham? Or your receptionist Ruqaiyya?

Jalal did not want Benazir to know of any of his intentions with respect to Jodha. He did not want her to know that he hated her but at the same time he couldn't stop fantasizing about her. Jalal - Arre koi bhi nahi. Mere gym ka boxing bag was my victim today. I just kept punching it. And after I go home today, I want to punch it more

Salima - Oh hi Jodha. Kya hua? Why are you in so much tension?

Jodha - Hi Salima, Mr President asked me to show the presentation today which I was supposed to show him tomorrow. And he gave me only one hour to prepare for it. Isliye tensed hoon nothing else. Tell me, does he trouble you also like this?

Salima - No not all, in fact he also gives me leave when I ask for it. But I must say, Jodha, I have noticed a difference in his behaviour now-a-days. He is easily distracted and very irritable. I wonder why

Jodha (to herself) - He must be plotting against me, what else? Doesn't he have other things like his family or Benazir to worry about? (to Salima) - Oh achha. Anyways, I gotta go otherwise he will kill me!

Salima - Okay bye!

The peon helped Jodha connect her laptop and set up the projector. She saw that among the numerous chairs in the conference room, only one chair was occupied and that too by Jalal.

Jodha - Mr President, is anyone else going to be here apart from you?

Jalal - No Ms Jodha, only I will be present here. Now could you please start with your presentation?
