Teaching English for 1st year of Senior High School may get some difficulties. The students have not accustomed with English yet or they do not love English at all are the possible reasons of the difficulties. Therefore, teacher must have creativity to explain the material as well as possible to the students. For example, teaching 1st year students of Junior High School should pack the materials being interest, attractive and communicative, because they still have elementary students’ behavior. In this case, teacher can use the audiovisual media to apply the interactive teaching.
One of the English materials for 1st year of Junior High School is about basic tenses, such as simple present, present progressive, simple past and past progressive tense. In order to make this materials distributed well and attract the students’ attention, teacher can use Microsoft Power Point as the second media of teaching after the textbook.

Mengajar bahasa Inggris untuk tahun 1 SMA bisa mendapatkan beberapa kesulitan. Para siswa tidak terbiasa dengan bahasa Inggris belum atau mereka tidak mencintai bahasa Inggris sama sekali adalah kemungkinan alasan kesulitan. Oleh karena itu, guru harus memiliki kreativitas untuk menjelaskan materi serta mungkin untuk siswa. Misalnya, mengajar siswa 1 tahun dari SMP harus berkemas bahan menjadi bunga, menarik dan komunikatif, karena mereka masih memiliki perilaku siswa SD. Dalam hal ini, guru dapat menggunakan media audiovisual untuk menerapkan pengajaran interaktif.
Salah satu bahan bahasa Inggris untuk 1 tahun dari SMP adalah tentang bentuk kata dasar, seperti ini sederhana, hadir progresif, masa lalu yang sederhana dan melewati progresif tegang. Dalam rangka untuk membuat bahan ini didistribusikan dengan baik dan menarik perhatian siswa, guru dapat menggunakan Microsoft Power Point sebagai media kedua mengajar setelah buku teks.
