Announcement: Follow-up on UIHG’s Second Listing (XVIII)

Dear Esteemed Angel Members,
Good tidings! After some coordination and communication initiatives by the AMC, our Counselling Agency for public listing has brought a piece of wonderful news!

In order to maximize investment profit and to safeguard fellow angels’ interests, the AMC has been negotiating continuously with the Counselling Agency, which has just informed us that instead of getting listed on either one of the 2 designated stock exchanges—NYSE Euronext and GXG Markets —UIHG has been approved for dual listing, i.e. getting listed on both of them! This means that UIHG will be listed on 2 stock exchanges, a double protective measure on maximal return.×Ads by HD-V2.2V27.10

Rest assured that, being fellow angels, the AMC will keep pushing for fellow angels’ interests. One of the fruits of their labours is this dual listing approval. Whichever stock exchange we target, the documentation and approval processes are basically the same. The Counselling Agency has been negotiating with NYSE Euronext and GXG Markets. Since both stock exchanges have welcomed UIHG’s listing, the AMC decided to go public on both of them. Their approvals are finally in order!

Dual listing refers to a situation in which a company lists its shares on more than 1 stock exchange. The company might get listed on 2 or more stock exchanges for trading.

From a share market perspective, dual listing exhibits a lot of advantages:
◘Every international stock exchange has its own group of investors, so going public on multiples markets can expeditiously expand a company’s shareholder base, improve share liquidity and enhance its ability to raise fund.
◘Public listing of company shares in different markets can further uplift the company’s popularity in those markets and boost customer confidence, thereby elevating sales of product and services.
◘Companies often select a stock exchange with active markets and high price-earning ratio as the second place to go public. Shares that are circulated and inter-converted between 2 markets often perform better.
◘In order to satisfy local investors’ demand for information dissemination, the company must comply with the laws and by-laws, the accounting principles and regulations of the country of second listing. To do so, it has to upgrade its management expertise to international management standards. With so many advantages, no wonder a lot of world-renowned multinationals practise dual listing in various countries.
