Abstract
This paper is a consulting project for prospective public speakers. This project is
intended to help break down barriers and build confidence of students when faced with public
speaking situations. The project is designed for adult students. Students will be introduced to
public speaking from a historical perspective with the hope they will build a foundation for
accepting the remaining course material. The theory of Communication Apprehension (CA) is
identified and discussed throughout the paper. As students start to recognize what barriers they
possess in public speaking, they will learn simple methods in how to create and deliver a speech.
The content is delivered in a multi-sensory approach for students in effort to reach all of
their learning abilities. A portfolio containing the tools to teach different class types was created.
A website named Speaktothem.com was made for the project. The portfolio and website are
separate components with separate aims.

Abstrak Karya ini adalah sebuah proyek konsultasi untuk calon pembicara publik. Proyek ini adalah dimaksudkan untuk membantu memecah hambatan dan membangun rasa percaya diri siswa ketika dihadapkan dengan Umum berbicara situasi. Proyek ini dirancang bagi siswa dewasa. Siswa akan diperkenalkan ke berbicara di depan umum dari perspektif sejarah dengan harapan mereka akan membangun sebuah yayasan untuk menerima materi kursus tersisa. Teori komunikasi ketakutan (CA) diidentifikasi dan dibahas seluruh kertas. Sebagai siswa mulai mengenali apa hambatan mereka miliki dalam berbicara di depan umum, mereka akan belajar metode sederhana dalam cara membuat dan menyampaikan pidato. Kontennya disampaikan dalam pendekatan multi-indera bagi siswa dalam upaya untuk menjangkau semua kemampuan belajar mereka. Portofolio berisi alat untuk mengajar kelas berbeda jenis diciptakan. Sebuah website yang bernama Speaktothem.com dibuat untuk proyek. Portofolio dan website komponen terpisah dengan tujuan terpisah.
