Goal:
Locate properties for sale online in your country which will command a premium price when rented via Airbnb

Instructions:
1. Go to airbnb.com and search for apartments available for rental (the entire place, not just a room) in the most touristic regions in your country.
2. Review the properties which have the combination of highest price in relation to number of rooms and highest number of positive reviews. Check them out in terms of decoration, location and characteristics (terrace, views, garden, etc.).

Notice how they are practically fully booked for the upcoming weeks.

3. Do an internet search for properties on sale which are similar in terms of location, decoration and characteristics (terrace, views, garden, etc.) to the ones you saw on Airbnb. These will probably be difficult to find since most properties for sale are not offered furnished but the focus here is quality instead of quantity so we only require that you find 1 property a week in your country that you think is similar to the successful properties in Airbnb.

4. If you cannot find fully furnished properties for sale because they simply do not exist in your market please send a couple of examples of the closest thing available, i.e. properties that are not sold with furniture but that are in a good location for short-term rental, have attractive characteristics (terrace, view, garden, etc.) and pleasant kitchen & bathroom.

All are sold with the main kitchen appliances and a few include all the furniture that you can see in the pics. We called the ads that don’t specify whether the furniture is included and in all cases the seller was willing to negotiate adding most of the furniture to the sale (obviously not things like art & paintings).
