The researcher would like to express her thanks to Allah S.W.T the Lord of the world and her thanks to Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. Finally the researcher could finish her thesis, entitled “an analysis students’ writing skill of procedure text at grade XI of SMA Ekasakti Padang”. The primary aim of this thesis was to complete a partial fulfillment of requirement for getting the strata one (S1) degree in Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Ekasakti University.
This thesis could not be completed without a great deal of helping from many people, especially Mr. Dr. Mac aditiawarman, M.Hum. as the first advisor as well as the Chairman in English Depatrment and lecturer, and Mrs. Niza syafeni, M.Pd. as the second advisor.
Next, her gratitude is also presented to Prof. Nasrun. as the Dean of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Ekasakti University. The special honor and thanks also go to all lecturers of the English Department of Ekasakti University, especially for Mrs. Dra.Febby Meutia Yusuf, M.pd and Miss. Lailatul Husna, M. Pd. for their guidance and help.
Then, special great pride goes to her lovely mother “Martini” for her support in order to finish her study and also for her inspiring sister “Yuslimarni, SH”. It should be a best present of this thesis for your dreams. Next, her great pride goes to her beloved brother (Masril) who have given pray, materials, and motivation to the researcher.
And she also gives her thanks to all of the best friends in English Department who cannot be stated the name one by one for the most exciting and craziest memory of friendship we are ever through.
