The Legend of Lake BaturA long time ago,there lived on the is land of Bali a giant-like creature named Kbo Iwo. The people of Bali used to say that Kbo Iwo was everything, a destroyer as well as a creator. He was satisfied with the meal, but this meant for the Balinese people enough food for at thousand men .Difficulties arose when for the first time the barns were almost empty and the new harvest was still a long way off .This made Kbo Iwo wild with great anger. In his hunger, he destroyed all the house sand even all the temples. It made the Balinese turn torage. So, they came together to plan steps to oppose this powerful giant by using his stupidity.They asked Kbo Iwo to build them a very deepwell, and rebuild all the houses and temples he hadde stroyed. After they fed Kbo Iwo, he began to diga deep hole. One day he had eaten too much, he fell a sleep in the hole. The oldest man in the village gavea sign, and the villagers began to throw the limes tone they had collected before into the hole. The limes tone made the water inside the hole boiling. Kbo Iwo was buried alive. Then the water in the well rose higherand higher until at last it over flowed and formed Lake Batur. The mound of earth dug from the well by Kbo Iwo is known as Mount Batur.

Legenda Danau Batur
Dahulu kala, hiduplah di lahan Bali makhluk raksasa seperti bernama KBO Iwo. Orang-orang Bali yang digunakan untuk mengatakan bahwa KBO Iwo adalah segalanya, kapal perusak serta pencipta. Dia merasa puas dengan makanan, tetapi ini berarti bagi masyarakat Bali cukup makanan untuk di ribu orang .Difficulties muncul ketika untuk pertama kalinya lumbung hampir kosong dan panen baru masih jauh dari .Ini membuat KBO Iwo liar dengan kemarahan yang besar. Kelaparan, ia menghancurkan semua rumah pasir bahkan semua candi. Hal itu membuat pergantian torage Bali. Jadi, mereka datang bersama-sama untuk merencanakan langkah-langkah untuk menentang raksasa kuat ini dengan menggunakan nya stupidity.They meminta KBO Iwo untuk membangun mereka sangat deepwell, dan membangun kembali semua rumah dan kuil-kuil yang hadde hancur. Setelah mereka makan KBO Iwo, ia mulai DIGA lubang yang dalam. Suatu hari ia makan terlalu banyak, ia jatuh tidur di dalam lubang. Orang tertua di tanda gavea desa, dan warga desa mulai melemparkan limes nada mereka dikumpulkan sebelum ke dalam lubang. Para limau Nada membuat air di dalam lubang mendidih. KBO Iwo dikubur hidup-hidup. Maka air di sumur naik higherand lebih tinggi sampai akhirnya lebih mengalir dan membentuk Danau Batur. Gundukan tanah digali dari baik oleh KBO Iwo dikenal sebagai Gunung Batur.
