SCOPE OF WORK
1 PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The Vendor will be responsible for end-to end activity & shall interact with End customer in coordination with Ceragon Project Manager based at respective Circle. Partner PM shall be circulating Daily Progress Report with the customer through Ceragon PM highlighting:
• Target for the day,
• Achievement of the day,
• Material transportation tracking,
• Hops ATP, PAC, RFS, FAC completed,
• Material required for smooth flow of the project,
• Issues hampering progress of the project,

Partner representatives shall jointly attend review meeting with End customer.
Partner shall arrange for sufficient teams to cater to the customer Target for providing Transmission network. Experienced personnel must be available in respective cluster to control the quality/quantity of the work being performed in field. Partner shall share Daily Report on tracking of the material Movement to respective sites with Ceragon PM.

Ceragon PM will assist Partner for obtaining Provisional & Final Acceptance certificate from end customer.

Vendor shall keep all the records available for inspection at all times during the execution till completion of the project activity.

2. MICROWAVE SYSTEM INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING

Microwave system comprise of following:
• Radio system,
• Antenna system,
• Interfacing with other equipment,
• NMS.

The Vendor will perform the installation, commissioning and testing of the Ceragon-supplied equipment. The Desired services can be Sub-grouped into the following:

 Mounting & Installation of Antenna Systems and ancillary kit on Tower(Outdoor Activity),
 Microwave Radio System Installation and Commissioning ( Indoor Activity),
 Connecting proper earthing & Powering the radio system,
 Antenna alignment and system Testing
 E1 cross connection and testing
 Patching and cable routing between different transmission equipment
 NMS system Integration
 Site Inspection and Acceptance test.

Ceragon expects Workmanship will be as per the related specifications for each type of equipment and in accordance with telecommunications industry general standards.

A schedule for installation teams will be determined, and agreed upon by Ceragon and Partner, during the project planning phase.
The Vendor shall provide all the necessary installation and testing tools and equipment. List of necessary tools is as under. This list shall include but will not be limited to:
 Voltmeter/ Multimeter / power meter
 E1 patching (Krone) tools
 Tools for antenna alignment
 Heat Gun,
 Soldering Iron,
 Tools for IDU installation
 Mobile phone
 Laptops

2.1 Equipment Receiving
Supplier shall transport the microwave equipment for installation from the warehouse to the site; Vendor shall send the team or member to receive the equipment at the site. The representative of Vendor should sign the Delivery document, after the inspection and checking, in case of any damage or shortage of received items; Vendor will be responsible for equipment safety up to Acceptance. Delivery Document must have note for the shortage/ Damage if any observed at the time of delivery. Partner should intimate Circle Project Manager by SMS & mail.

2.2 Installation of Antenna Systems
Vendor shall install the antenna systems, as indicated in the system documentation. Partner must check position of Pole mount along with its Diameter (suiting Antenna Diameter), Height & azimuth with Link budget (provided). All the antennas need to be in good condition after the installation, which means no damages and Partner shall take proper care to avoid colliding of antenna with tower during the implementation.

 Confirm availability of Pole mount in accordance with Antenna size, Desired Height, Azimuth planed In the Link Budget.
 Unpack the antenna,
 Match the Frequency, ODU parameters prior to fixing ODU with Antenna (use gasket).
 Carry out assembly work as far as possible with the antenna on the ground
 Set the polarization
 For shielded antennas, ensure that the antenna drain-hole plugs have been removed from the bottom of the antenna shield and that they are installed in the top
 Ensure that the elevation and azimuth adjusters are set for mid travel
 For split-mount installations it may be practical to attach the ODU to the antenna before is hoisted into position. For details please refer to Antenna Hoisting.
 For antenna with Diameter 1.2 Mt’s & above Installation of Supporting rod supplied with Antenna is must in accordance with the specification in the installation manual.

Light weight/small but compact antennas and ODUs can be hand carried up a tower; larger Antennas and some ODUs must be winched into place and supported there while being attached to their mounting. The job should be entrusted to experienced and qualified riggers only. Persons climbing the tower should be in Good Health & under no medication. They shall use standard safety kits recommended for Tower climbing or working at heights. Similarly, hoist and winch equipment may need to be independently inspected and certified as being fit for purpose.

Partner must take Utmost care and follow the procedures to ensure equipment being installed or existing equipment is not damaged, and that other working antennas are not affected. In particular:
a) Use the manufacturer’s specifications to determine the correct rigging for hoisting an antenna
b) When working around and with waveguide, ensure that it is not dented or deformed
c) Do not hoist equipment in front of existing (operational) antennas
d) Wind loading on the antenna can make hoisting difficult and dangerous, especially when winds are gusting. Install only when wind velocities are low and weather conditions are expected to remain stable.

 Hybrid coupler, ODU installation and grounding on the tower
 IF cable routing, weather proofing and grounding, there are three points need to be connected to the grounding bus bar for the outdoor section, i.e., top, middle, and bottom near the wall through entry
 IDU installation and grounding With DDF installation at new/ sharing sites if required.

 Subcon need to clean the sites after finishing the I&C activities from the site

The ODU must connect to the antenna in weather tight condition, gasket should properly seat in the groove to avoid any water seepage. The Grounding of ODU need to be done and connected below to the right bus bar on the tower or mounting pole.
The IF cable which between ODU with IDU should be tied/ fixed neatly along the tower. The IF cables should be grounded properly according to the equipment installation specification.
IDU needs to be installed in the indoor rack or cabinet. The associated DDF should preferably be installed in the same rack/cabinet above the IDU just one space reserved between them for cabling through.
The Vendor will install the DC power wiring and the grounding connection from the Ceragon supplied equipment to the DC distribution panel and ground ring or bus bar.

Light weight/small but compact antennas and ODUs can be hand carried up a tower; larger Antennas and some ODUs must be winched into place and supported there while being attached to their mounting. The job should be entrusted to experienced and qualified riggers only. Persons climbing the tower should be in Good Health & under no medication. They shall use standard safety kits recommended for Tower climbing or working at heights. Similarly, hoist and winch equipment may need to be independently inspected and certified as being fit for purpose.

Partner must take Utmost care and follow the procedures to ensure equipment being installed or existing equipment is not damaged, and that other working antennas are not affected. In particular:
a) Use the manufacturer’s specifications to determine the correct rigging for hoisting an antenna
b) When working around and with waveguide, ensure that it is not dented or deformed
c) Do not hoist equipment in front of existing (operational) antennas
d) Wind loading on the antenna can make hoisting difficult and dangerous, especially when winds are gusting. Install only when wind velocities are low and weather conditions are expected to remain stable.

Following are the universal antenna sizes and the typical configurations of the radios which will implement for this project,

2.3 Installation of Microwave Radios and ancillary equipment (For 1+0 and 1+1 HSB/SD)

Vendor shall install the Microwave Radios at the associated sites. Scope shall include but shall not be limited to following:
 Hybrid coupler, ODU installation and grounding on the tower
 IF cable routing, weather proofing and grounding, there are three points need to be connected to the grounding bus bar for the outdoor section, i.e., top, middle, and bottom near the wall through entry
 IDU installation and grounding With DDF installation at new/ sharing sites if required.

 Subcon need to clean the sites after finishing the I&C activities from the site

The ODU must connect to the antenna in weather tight condition, gasket should properly seat in the groove to avoid any water seepage. The Grounding of ODU need to be done and connected below to the right bus bar on the tower or mounting pole.
The IF cable which between ODU with IDU should be tied/ fixed neatly along the tower. The IF cables should be grounded properly according to the equipment installation specification.
IDU needs to be installed in the indoor rack or cabinet. The associated DDF should preferably be installed in the same rack/cabinet above the IDU just one space reserved between them for cabling through.
The Vendor will install the DC power wiring and the grounding connection from the Ceragon supplied equipment to the DC distribution panel and ground ring or bus bar.
2.4 Hop Testing of Microwave Radios and ancillary equipment
