Background
The ECED frontline pilot program (2015 – 2017), is intended to strengthen the system for frontline delivery of high quality, sustainable early childhood education and development (ECED) services in poor, rural communities. The program will provide support to villages and their communities in terms of raising awareness of the importance of investing in ECED for the children, as well as providing financial support to for villages to send their community teachers (playgroup and/or kindergarten teachers) to quality training programs. At the same time, activities under the pilot program are intended to strengthen the ECED teacher training system at all levels, from the national level down to the community, including those training programs managed by Non-Government organizations. A major goal is to help reduce poverty by promoting children’s attendance at quality ECED services with well-trained teachers.

Latar belakang
The PAUD program percontohan garis depan (2015 - 2017), dimaksudkan untuk memperkuat sistem untuk pengiriman garis depan berkualitas tinggi, pendidikan anak usia dini yang berkelanjutan dan pengembangan (PAUD) layanan di miskin, masyarakat pedesaan.
