SCOPE OF DOCUMENT
PT. UTEC Survey Indonesia (Sub Contractor) has been contracted by PT. Timas
Suplindo (Contractor) to provide survey services on-board HILONG 106 and DLB01
including their dedicated AHTs. This document covers exclusively the Survey and
Positioning Procedure for the Pipelay Installation, Platform Installation by the HILONG
106 and associated Spools and Risers by the DLB01.
1.2.1 HILONG 106 Survey and Positioning
This document explains the survey procedure for offshore pipe laying operation for the 6”
production PHE-24 to KE5 CPP, 8” production PHE-12 to CPP2 pipeline and 6” gas lift
pipeline CPP2 to PHE-12; the PHE-12, PHE-24 and CPP2 platform installations and
modifications to the KE-5 CPP platform using the HILONG 106. Below is the detail scope
that will be covered in this survey procedure:
 Mobilization of all required survey equipment on-board HILONG 106 and 2 x AHTs
 Mobilization of survey personnel on-board HILONG 106 during the offshore work
 DGPS Verification and Gyro Calibration during the mobilization
 Assist in the safe set up of the HILONG 106 and its anchor pattern at work site
 Provide complete survey support during the HILONG 106 operations as below:
 Anchor Handling
 Barge Positioning
 Pipeline Initiation
 Pipe lay Operations
 Pipeline Laydown
 Touchdown monitoring
 Advise on position and heading direction corrections to the HILONG 106 anchor
operators to ensure the pipeline stays within the required lay corridor
 Displaying of the theoretical touchdown point of the pipeline on the seabed using the
position of a known point on the HILONG 106 and data supplied by on-board field
engineer
 Provide subsea positioning of the ROV during Touch Down Monitoring and other
subsea operations
 Provide survey support during Caisson Pile and Jacket Installation as below:
 Caisson Pile installation
 Caisson Pile Verticality
 Caisson Pile Cut to Length
 Platform Installation and orientation
 Platform Levelling
 Topside orientation on Levelling
 Submission of the survey and positioning reports including daily progress reports,
mobilization reports, calibration reports, field reports, survey reports, anchor logs and
survey pipeline tally.
