Reflective practise and action lear

Reflective practise and action learning are focused on the individual,
co-operative inquiry and various forms of deliberative decision making are focused
on the group, Participatory action research is focused at the level of community,
and SAR is focused on systemic inter-relationships. These different approaches to
action research should not be seen as unconnected. I have argued elsewhere (Burns,
2007) that it is crucial for systemic research to be underpinned by strong group
facilitation and good personal reflective practice. More broadly I would argue that
the techniques of individual group and community-based action research can be
effective tools within an SAR learning architecture. Nevertheless, action research
has traditionally been at its strongest methodologically at individual level and
group level. Participatory action research processes have extended beyond the
boundaries of the group and have shown huge potential for supporting and
developing campaigns, advocacy and social change where the main issue is lack
of knowledge. SAR extends the process of inquiry and action to the wider system
within which issues play out.

Praktek reflektif dan tindakan belajar berfokus pada individu,
koperasi penyelidikan dan berbagai bentuk pengambilan keputusan deliberatif difokuskan
pada kelompok, penelitian tindakan partisipatif difokuskan di tingkat masyarakat,
dan SAR difokuskan pada hubungan antar sistemik. Pendekatan ini berbeda dengan
penelitian tindakan tidak harus dilihat sebagai tidak tersambung. Saya telah menyatakan di tempat lain (Burns,
2007) yang sangat penting untuk penelitian sistemik harus didukung oleh kelompok yang kuat
fasilitasi dan praktek reflektif pribadi yang baik. Lebih luas Saya berpendapat bahwa
teknik individu dan kelompok penelitian tindakan berbasis masyarakat dapat
alat yang efektif dalam arsitektur belajar SAR. Namun demikian, penelitian tindakan
secara tradisional di terkuat metodologis di tingkat individu dan
tingkat kelompok. Proses penelitian aksi partisipatif telah menambah melampaui
batas-batas kelompok dan telah menunjukkan potensi besar untuk mendukung dan
mengembangkan kampanye, advokasi dan perubahan sosial di mana masalah utama adalah kurangnya
pengetahuan. SAR memperluas proses penyelidikan dan tindakan untuk sistem yang lebih luas
di mana masalah bermain keluar.
