4.5 Query Term Effects
In our study, we observed forty six different searches with 121 query term. Previous research [2,15] has identified key query terms types that appear in the searches of humanities users: names of individuals, Geographical names, chronological terms and discipline terms (understood terminologi within field – e.g. in computer science, ‘recall and precision’).it is argued that these query term types have a specific meaning within a discipline and therefore should be “good” query terms. However, these term type have not been studied from the perspective of information retrieval, to understand their usefulness when input to search engine. A specific term may carry strong sematic cues, but information retrieval techniques focus instead on the rate of occurrence of a word phrase.

Dalam penelitian kami, kami mengamati Forty Six pencarian yang berbeda dengan 121 istilah query. Penelitian sebelumnya [2,15] telah mengidentifikasi kunci istilah permintaan jenis yang muncul dalam pencarian humaniora pengguna: nama-nama individu, nama geografis, istilah kronologis dan istilah disiplin (Terminologi dipahami dalam bidang - misalnya dalam ilmu komputer, 'ingat dan presisi' ) .it berpendapat bahwa jenis istilah permintaan ini memiliki arti khusus dalam disiplin dan karenanya harus "baik" istilah permintaan. Namun, jenis istilah ini belum diteliti dari perspektif pencarian informasi, memahami kegunaannya ketika input untuk mesin pencari. Sebuah istilah tertentu dapat membawa isyarat SEMATIC kuat, tetapi teknik pencarian informasi berfokus pada tingkat terjadinya frase kata.
