I am an Antrhopological Archaeologi

I am an Antrhopological Archaeologist with scholarly training in Historical, Industrial and Nautical archaeology. I have broad interests ranging from the age of exploration to colonial and industrial development, which I approach from world-systems perspective. My focus is on diasporic populations and identity formation among marginalized communities, particularly in the Caribbean. Current projects include investigation of maritime slave communities and the ethnicity of exploration. I am also an Educator with extensive experience teaching at several levels.

I am proud to report that I have been selected as the recipient of the 2009 Vogel Prize for Ouststanding Scholarship in Industrial Archaeology. The honor is presented by the Society for Industrial Archaeology. I am honored and delighted by this recognition for my work on Nevis.

Saya seorang Antrhopological Arkeolog dengan pelatihan ilmiah di Sejarah, Industri dan arkeologi Nautical. Saya memiliki minat yang luas mulai dari usia eksplorasi terhadap pengembangan kolonial dan industri, yang saya mendekati dari perspektif sistem dunia. Fokus saya adalah pada populasi diaspora dan pembentukan identitas di kalangan masyarakat terpinggirkan, terutama di Karibia. Proyek saat ini meliputi penyelidikan komunitas budak maritim dan etnis eksplorasi. Saya juga Pendidik dengan pengalaman yang luas mengajar di beberapa tingkatan. Saya bangga melaporkan bahwa saya telah terpilih sebagai penerima 2009 Vogel Prize untuk Ouststanding Beasiswa di Arkeologi Industri. Kehormatan disajikan oleh Society for Arkeologi Industri.
