In Fig. 3 the experimental data for [MATHEMATICAL EXPRESSION NOT REPRODUCIBLE IN ASCII] and the fitting with different defect models are shown.A great difference in the fitting for models considering localized or itinerant charge carriers can be observed. It is clear from this fitting that the [MATHEMATICAL EXPRESSION NOT REPRODUCIBLE IN ASCII] data strongly suggest the presence of localized charge carriers in the Fe sites for the [Sr.sub.3][Fe.sub.2][O.sub.6+[delta]] compound. The fitting of [MATHEMATICAL EXPRESSION NOT REPRODUCIBLE IN ASCII] is also improved considering the presence of vacancies not only in the O(1) site but also in the O(3) and O(2) sites.
