After we sent the final offer to customer which is attached below, the customer has come back with a few request.

1. We have quoted 645,000 USD as Ex - works Sandvik Jakarta price. The customer has requested for an FOB origin port price as they will use their own shipping line. In such a case, I think the Order also needs to be on Sandvik Germany and not on Sandvik Jakarta. What do you think ? There should be not a problem when you respectively Sandvik Jakarta book the order with the Incoterm FOB Shanghai. Or there is a bigger problem for the import for Sandvik Jakarta or the end customer?...but this is something what the colleagues from Sandvik Jakarta should know.

2. The customer is looking for a payment terms of 100% L/C with a usance period of 180 days. If the order has to be placed on Sandvik Germany, you will need to give me a decision on this payment terms.
L/C is not a problem - as long as the wording and procedure is acc. to Sandvik standard payment terms. The 180 days is over the standard wording respectively over the normal acceptable time, as far as I know. This is something what needs to be approved from Sandvik Credit AB - Payment Advisory! They can support you also with the current standard wording for the L/C.

3. The customer is also looking at a price reduction, but we can stick to this price as there will be additional implication in case we decide to offer them 180 days usance L/C. You should stick to the price when you get the ok from Sandvik Credit AB - Payment Advisory - they should also know that this longer period will us costs. When you don't get the ok from Sandvik Credit AB - Payment Advisory then we say 640.000,-€ but nothing more - and we have also to discuss the transfer price/local margin anyway - as mentioned in my previous mail. But we'll discuss this when we have the order in our hands.
