- The operational SOP that we have debated and came up with is purely based on assumption that your new ERP system will be going live and fully utilised.
- With the ERP system being live finance will have close to real time data which is required to track and control plant performance.
- Unfortunately the ERP system is still not gone live and fully utised which makes finance team to be in the dark on most activities / transaction in the plant.
- Highlights from Pak Dono on the SOP are to bridge this gap by having manual information transfer from operation teams so that finance can track the transactions and utilise these information for control purpose.
- We have aligned that Pak Dono will furnish us with a simple table detailing the report / data / information that required for tracking and control purpose as well as the frequency of these need be sent to finance.
- After that we can decide on the person in charge for the information transfer and incorporate them in to our SOPs based on the most efficient and accurate method for manual information transfer.

Hope this clarifies the confusion if any with regards to the SOP updates. Feel free to write to me if need further clarification or details.

Once again allow me to stress that the four items that will move the needle will be, Material Usage Variance, Direct labor Cost Variance, Electricity Cost and Packing Material Cost Variance. Once these items are in full transparency and tracked then automatically the control will be in place plus in many cases we have realized "What gets measured gets improved".

Separately, I must say that I'm hoping that your team will make the ERP system working knowing very well the benefits that it will bring to the business.
