Language is one of the main parts in life. Language, communication and human beings are three components that cannot be separated from each other. Language is very important in our lives. People at least use one language to convey and express their ideas, desire and feelings through communication process with others. As Chaer and Leony state that by language one can talk with others, express his desires, his feeling and his ideas (Chaer and Leony, 1995:22). It is a means of communication between individuals and it also brings them into relationship with their environment. Therefore, language is socially learned behavior (Lim Kiat Bucy, 1975:3).
Language is a guide to social reality and that human beings at the mercy of the language that has become the medium of expression for their society (Basuni Muhammad, 2010:13). Language is also a social phenomenon. It is a means of communication between individuals and brings them into relationship with environment (Boey, 1975:3).
In communication language used by people is influenced by social factors. Such as: Social status, education age, socio economic, profession and many other (Allan G Johnson 1986:69). So, language and society are two things, which are inseparable. They have close relationship since each other support another. Kartomiharjo (1988:3-4) states that a society dwelling in a certain region is generally divisible into smaller groups. They formed by ethnic, profession, religion, ideology, socio-economic, education and others.
Nowadays in the developing era, the relation and communication among nations become very significant in order to interlace fellowship and cooperation. From the various languages in the entire world, English languages and become the international language. However, not all people can use and communication using English language fluently, especially in Indonesia. In addition, it becomes difficult for them to understand the meaning. Moreover, to understand the idea and the meaning are become the difficult thing to them. That is why the translators and interpreter take the significant role to prevent misunderstanding in the communication among speakers in diferent language. There for communication becomes unlimited.
High quality of translation is needed by common people because they really on the translation in text books, subtitle and dubbing in films or videos, and also interpreting.
Film is one of entertainment media which is interesteng for all generation. It containts cultural element, moral message, educations, lifestyles, politics, and history. In this case, the researcher analyses a film for teenegers which contains many elements which are culture, education, moral message, lifestyle and slang.
According to Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, slang are “very informal words and expressions that are more common in spoken language especially used a particultural group of people, for example, children, criminals soldiers, etc”, Hormby (1987:143). It means that slang is not proper to be used in formal conversation. Slang is commonly used by group people who want to look different than others. By using slang in their conversation they can show their existence. Slang is usually used by teenager, or certain class in the society.
In translating the translator does not only change the source text into target text, especially in saang traslation of subtitle. Translator should find the proper meaning which can show the idea or the message in this movie to get certain effect. But translator may make mistakes or ignore the text in translating the original message of the movie.
In this research, there are many reasons which lead me to analyze slang translation in the The Pirate fairy Movie. The first, I found enough data of slang translation in The Pirate Fairy Movie. Secondly, The Pirate Fairy is one of the teenager movies. The main characters of this movie are Zirina, Tinker Bell and friends. They have different properties. The Pirate Fairy movie is interesting to be analyzed for me and many examples of the analysis can be shown some examples below.

James : Stop them, biatch!
Indonesia : Hentikan mereka, bodoh!
The above example is found in the part of the film which shows that boy named James. He was in a state of drowning at sea, trying to recapture the blue of fairy dust. Then ordered his men to pick it up, then he said “Stop them, biatch” when he emerged from the water. There is a slang word “biatch” in the example above.
According (http://www.urbandictionary.com/biatch). “biatch” is slang, it is the other way to say “bitch”. Based on the explain above, the researcher chooses the title “An Analysis Slang Translation Subtitle of The Pirate Fairy movie”. It is the one techniques for understanding reading.
