Diagnostic Methods for WSD
Antibodies (Abs)-based test are being tested for the detection of WSSV. A
reverse passive latex agglutination assay (RPLA), which detects WSSV
from stomach tissue homogenate has been proposed as a useful method
for virus detection on site (Okumura et al., 2004). Histological methods
using Hematoxiline and Eosine stain (H&E, Lightner, 1996) have been
used as routine diagnostic technique of WSSV by demonstration of
eosinophilic to pale basophilic, intranuclear inclusion bodies in
hypertrophied nuclei of the cuticular epithelial cells and connective tissue,
and less frequently, in other tissues

Antibodi (Abs) tes berbasis sedang diuji untuk mendeteksi WSSV. Sebuah
terbalik pasif uji aglutinasi lateks (RPLA), yang mendeteksi WSSV
dari homogenat jaringan perut telah diusulkan sebagai metode yang berguna
untuk deteksi virus di situs (Okumura et al., 2004). Metode histologis
menggunakan Hematoxiline dan Eosine noda (H & E, Lightner, 1996) telah
