whwn the process of developing the information standards begins, all stakeholders must understand thet development is only part of the process. The scon half of the process is the integration of the information literacy standards with other curricular areas. Not all participants will understand this need, and it may be necessary to spend some time educating them about the value of the integration. Some of the information discussed in Chapter 8 be usefull at this stage.
