DelaminationDelamination is one of the predominant forms of failure in laminated composites due to thelack of reinforcement in the thickness direction. Delamination as a result of impact or amanufacturing defect can cause significant reductions in the compressive load-carryingcapacity and bending stiffness of a structure.
