the mouse, the Fort, and the hawk
a mouse who always lived on the land, by an unlucky chance,formed an intimate acquaintance with a frog,who lived for the most part in the water.
One day,the frog was intent on mischief. He diet the foot of the Mouse tightly to his own. Thus joined together, the frog led his friend the mouse to the meadow where they usually searched for food. After this, he gradually led him towards the pond in which he lived, until reaching the banks of the water, he suddenly jumped in, dragging the mouse with him.
The frog enjoyed the water amazingly, and swam croaking about, as if he had done a good deed. The unhappy mouse was soon sputtered and drowned in the water, and his poor dead body floating about on the surface.
A hawk observed the floating mouse from the sky, and dove down and grabbed it with his talon, carrying it back to his nest. The frog, being still fastened to the leg of the mouse, was also carried off a prisoner, and was eaten by the hawk.

In the eastern part of persia Three lived at one time a gardener whose one joy in life was his owners an fruit trees. He had neither wife, nor children, nor friends; nothing except his garden. At length, however, the good man wearied of having no one to talk to. He decided to go out into the world and a friends. Scarcely was he outside the garden before he came face to face with a bear,who,like the gardener, was looking for a companion. Immediately a great friendship sprang up between these two.
One afternoonin happened that an unusually large alighted on the gardener’s nose. The bear drove it off, but in only flew to the garderner’s chin. Again the bear drove it away, but in a few moments it was back once more on the gardener’s nose. The bear now was fi lled with rage.with no thought beyond that of punishing the fly, he seized a huge stone, and hurled it with such force at the gardener’s nose that he killed not only the fly , but the sleeping gardener .

The farmer and his sons
Three was once an old dying farmer who had always worked hard in his vineyard all his life. Before he died, he wanted to teach his three sons how to be good farmers. So he called them to him and said, ”my boys, before i die i want you to know that Three is a great treasure buried in the vineyard. Promise me that you will look for it when i am dead
The sons promised and as soon as their father died, they began looking for the treasure. They worked very hard in the hot sun and all the time as they were workeng they wondered what their father had left for them. In their minds they pictured boxes of gold coins, diamond necklaces, and other such things.
Soon they had dug up every inch of the vineyard. But they found not a singlet penny. They were very upset. They felt That their hard work had been for nothing. But then the grapes starter to appear on the vines and their grapes were the biggest and best in the neighborhood, and they sold them for a lot of Money. Now they understood what their father had meant by the great treasure, and they lived happily and wealthily ever after.

Once kupon a time, Three was a poor farmer who lived with his wife. One day, he dug up his field and found a big box. He took it home with him and showed it to his wife. His wife cleaned the box and kept it in their house.
One sunny morning his wife dropped an Apple into it. Suddenly, the box began fill up with Apples. No matter how many the apples were taken out more apples took their place . So, the farmer and his wife decide to sell the apples and in short time they were able to live quite compfortably.
One day , the farmer dropped a gold coin into the box. At once, apples disappeared and the box began to fill it self with coins. Every day, the farmer and his wife collected hunders of gold coins from the box. Soon, they became very rich.
Having heard that his son had gone rich , the farmer’s father visited the couple . He was not very strong and he could not go out to work anymore.So, the farmer asked the old man to help him take the Money out of the box . When his father told his son that he was Tire and wanted to have a rest the farmer shouted at him “ Why are you so lazy ? why can’t you work harder ?
