To further assess the variability of the correlation between SC
and Cs measurements, three independent correlation slopes were
determined in LA, within three days (results not shown). No significant
difference was observed between these slopes (p > 0.05).
These results indicate that the correlation between logSC and
logCs cannot be generalized and should be determined in each
landfill, before each campaign but does not require to be repeated
within one short-term campaign. The establishment of a correlation
in each landfill is a potential drawback of the surface probe
method. However, the large number of Cs measurements, that
the surface probe allows afterwards, compensates favorably the
time required for the establishment of the correlation.

probe permukaan memungkinkan setelah itu, mengkompensasi menguntungkan yang
waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk pembentukan korelasi.
