HOW TO MAKE LANTERNS

Do you have time to burn? Do you want to decorate your house with crafty lights? By following this quick article, you can have your very own paper lantern in a matter of minutes!

1. To start off, ............ about one to four piece of paper for your temporary lanterns. the color of the paper is up to you, as it won't affect the outcome.
2. ........... one sheet of paper in half hamburger style.
3. Take a pair of scissors and .............. from the folded side of the paper until you're about and inch from the edge.
4. Unfold the paper and ............. it into a cylindrical shape.
5. ........... the lantern together and seal the cylinder together with eighter glue or tape.
6. ........... another sheet of paper. This will be the handle of the lantern. Deending on your preferences, the handle can be as long or short as you desire. A simple strip of paper will be needed to complete this step.
7. Taking the top and bottom section of the handle, ............ it onto the body of the lantern so the middle of the handle is free and mobile. Allow it to dry before you pick it up.

10. If you want to, grab some extra paper (tissue works well too!) and crumple it up into a ball. ............ it inside the cylinder to set the candle upon. This make it so the light source doesn't fall through the buttom.
