Once upon a time, there was a kingdom in West Sumatra. The people worked as farmers. Their lives were full of happiness because the land was fertile and the weather was always beautiful. They also had a wise and protective king. However, Majapahit, a kingdom from Java would attack them. They were so restless. They went to the king. "Oh, my wise king. I beg your protect. Majapahit will attack us." said one of people sadly. "Don't worry. I know Majapahit has many soldiers. If we fight them, maybe we lose." said the king.

Sekali waktu, ada sebuah kerajaan di Sumatera Barat. Orang-orang bekerja sebagai petani. Kehidupan mereka penuh kebahagiaan karena tanah itu subur dan cuaca selalu indah. Mereka juga memiliki seorang raja yang bijaksana dan pelindung. Namun, Majapahit, sebuah kerajaan dari Jawa akan menyerang mereka. Mereka begitu gelisah. Mereka pergi ke raja. "Oh, raja yang bijaksana saya. Saya mohon melindungi Anda. Majapahit akan menyerang kita." kata salah satu orang sedih. "Jangan khawatir. Saya tahu Majapahit memiliki banyak tentara. Jika kita melawan mereka, mungkin kita kalah." kata raja.
