Mitsubishi will unveil an electric compact SUV study at the Tokyo Motor Show called eX Concept.
The electric SUV concept is a showcase of Mitsubishi’s next-generation EV technologies as well as a range of automated driving technologies, connected car technologies and active safety systems.
The study also offers a new take on the Dynamic Shield front design concept. While the face looks similar to Mitsubishi’s latest study, the XR-PHEV II, it has a smaller grille, slimmer headlights and big fog lights/daytime running lights units.
The study has a “floating roof” design at the rear where the C-pillar is camouflaged for a more stylish appearance. According to the automaker, the eX Concept combines the “elegance and stylishness of a shooting brake with compact SUV lines.” Mitsubishi says the eX Concept’s exterior and interior indicate the design direction for future models.
As for the technical part, the Mitsubishi eX Concept is said to offer a vision “for a unique 100 percent electric-powered compact SUV aimed at the fast-growing compact SUV market.” No technical details were offered other than it uses a next-generation EV system and all-wheel drive technologies.
Besides the eX Concept, Mitsubishi’s lineup for the Tokyo Motor Show will include a wide range of vehicles such as the facelifted Outlander and Outlander PHEV, Pajero, Delica D:5 and Japan-exclusive models like the eK Custom, eK Wagon and eK Space.

Mitsubishi akan mengungkap sebuah studi SUV kompak listrik di Tokyo Motor Show disebut eX Concept.
