A series of in-depth and one-on-one

A series of in-depth and one-on-one semi-structured interviews were
conducted with a sample of 256 women entrepreneurs in five major cities
of Pakistan. The rationale for this choice was two-fold. First, the indigenous
researcher was able to bank upon his understanding of how the
respondents view and experience the world so as to supplement and
adequately interpret the data. The second was to enable the researcher to
capture data efficiently and expedite access to meaningful qualitative
analysis over a relatively short period of time. It was important to encourage
the participants to discuss what they believed was relevant from
their perspective within the time permitted and the practicality of access
granted to the researcher.

Serangkaian mendalam dan satu-satu wawancara semi-terstruktur
dilakukan dengan sampel 256 wanita pengusaha di lima kota besar
Pakistan. Alasan untuk pilihan ini adalah dua kali lipat. Pertama, adat
peneliti mampu bank atas pemahamannya tentang bagaimana
responden melihat dan mengalami dunia sehingga dapat melengkapi dan
memadai menafsirkan data. Yang kedua adalah untuk memungkinkan peneliti untuk
menangkap data secara efisien dan mempercepat akses ke kualitatif berarti
analisis selama periode yang relatif singkat. Itu penting untuk mendorong
para peserta untuk mendiskusikan apa yang mereka percaya adalah relevan dari
perspektif mereka dalam waktu yang diizinkan dan kepraktisan akses
yang diberikan kepada peneliti.
