“There is no access to most of French ports and their terminals today. Le Havre is strongly impacted, no container movement today and our team cannot reach DGF Station, you should therefore expect delays in communication.

There will be no LCL departure from Le Havre this week, shipments will be transferred to Antwerp.

Several labor unions (dockers, rail transport…) call again for work stoppage tomorrow 19 May 2016. It will be extremely difficult to move containers in and out of French ports.

Currently the impact on the AFR business is limited.

We do not know yet if the situation is expected to be back to normal in coming days.
