Lorinser is introducing a comprehensive upgrade kit tailored to the Smart ForTwo city car.
Work started in the engine compartment where the 0.9-liter three-cylinder turbo has been massaged to deliver 105 PS (77 kW) and 160 Nm (118 lb-ft) which represents a healthy power boost from the series 90 PS (66 kW) and 135 Nm (100 lb-ft). The added oomph can be matched with a sportier exhaust system (€790) that has centrally-positioned dual exhaust tips. There's also a set of black 17-inch one-piece lightweight "Speedy" alloy wheels wrapped around in 205/40 R17 tires and a set of lowering springs that bring the ForTwo closer to the road by 30 mm.
For an additional €1,440, the tuner has a sporty body kit encompassing a front spoiler add-on, beefier side skirts and a rear bumper add-on while on the inside Lorinser offers numerous leather upholsteries, trim options, personalized floor mats, an aluminum pedal set and piano black or carbon accents.
