Hartmann Tuning has installed its Power V25 chip box on a Mercedes-Benz V250 to bump its output.

The V-Class is not what we would call a model with great tuning potential, but that hasn't stopped Hartmann from working on the V250 and its four-cylinder, 2.1-liter turbodiesel engine. In standard configuration, the motor is good enough for 190 PS (140 kW) at 3,800 rpm and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) of torque in the 1,400 - 2,400 rpm range, but after the tuner worked its magic it now churns 224 PS (165 kW) and 505 Nm (373 lb-ft).

There's no word regarding the V250's performances, but we remind you the standard version runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 9.1 seconds or in 10.6 seconds for the 4MATIC model, before topping out at 128 mph (206 km/h) and 124 mph (199 km/h), respectively.

Aside from packing more punch, this V-Class by Hartmann Tuning also has a sound generator which provides a more powerful (and fake) soundtrack after pressing a button inside the cabin. It also comes with some aero bits and pieces made from ABS, along with VEST-1 alloy wheels wrapped around in 245/45 tires and matched with a 30mm suspension lowering kit.
