In Chapter Five we already discussed one particular application of a simulation, the Crisis-Decision Simulation. If you remeber that simulation, it involved a highly dramatized situation of a group of students in a radiation-free geodesic dome deciding which of a number of survivors of a nuclear holocaust they were to let into their dome. (As I wrote this chapter the 2011 Tsunami that hit Japan and crippled the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant made the simulation eerily relevant). That is not the kind of simulation I'm thinking of here.
