Mercedes-AMG G63 6x6 Simply Glides Over Sandy Terrain

Amusingly enough, most videos we’ve seen the Mercedes-AMG G63 6x6 in have shown it posing on tarmac or having difficulty navigating tight city streets (or on track...).

However, it is much more at home where there are no roads, like for instance a beach.

The 6x6 laughs in the face of sand which is probably why it was very popular in the Middle East. There people really like to thrash their off-roaders up and over the dunes and this looks like the perfect wheeled companion, one that could definitely handle some air time and repeated landings.

It does look a bit prone to tipping over, though…

In the video below, it’s shown in hoon mode on a stretch of beach. YouTube user Gumbal doesn’t mention where the exact location is, but it’s not really that relevant in this context.

What you undoubtedly want to see is the 6x6 sideways on sand and the video features plenty of that!
