Abstract—The linkage between organizational culture andorganizational effectiveness has been elaborated by someempirical studies. Yet, organizational culture which includesshared values, philosophy, rules and habits are found to bevaried across different continents, race, belief and others.However, little reference has been made to relate organizationalculture with religion, specifically, the religion of Islam. So far,instruments developed and employed are also found lackingwith religion influence which is somehow crucial in certaincountries. This article conceptualizes organizationaleffectiveness in light of Islamic value system. Prior to that, thearticle elaborates the concept of organizational culture andorganizational effectiveness, before elaborating on the linkagebetween the two. Consequently, the uniqueness of Islamic valuesystem is explained as it may act as a motivation towards valuesadherence in organizational context. Finally, some suggestionsfor future research are also included in this article
