Description of the organization and its target audience
Delaware Music Educators Association (DMEA) is in brief an organization for music teachers of all levels (K-college) in the state of Delaware. Our official mission statement is:

The Delaware Music Educators Association, a body of professional music educators, exists to improve music curricula and instruction for students and to foster professional growth of all music educators within the State. The Association advocates the National Standards as advocated by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and accepted by the U.S. Department of Education for school music programs and the Delaware Standards for Music as developed by the Visual and Performing Arts Frameworks Commission. The DMEA provides professional development for the members of the organization as well as other music educators in the state. The DMEA also organizes the All-State programs in Delaware. Current All-State organizations include: Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble (7-12), Junior Band (7-9), Senior Band (10-12), Junior Chorus (7-8), Senior Mixed Chorus (9-12), and Senior Women’s Chorus (9-12).

Delaware Pendidik Asosiasi Musik (DMEA) adalah secara singkat sebuah organisasi untuk guru musik dari semua tingkatan (K-perguruan tinggi) di negara bagian Delaware. Pernyataan misi resmi kami adalah: The Delaware Musik Pendidik Association, sebuah badan pendidik musik profesional, ada untuk meningkatkan kurikulum musik dan instruksi untuk siswa dan untuk mendorong pertumbuhan profesional dari semua pendidik musik dalam Negara. Asosiasi pendukung Standar Nasional seperti yang dianjurkan oleh Asosiasi Nasional untuk Pendidikan Musik (NAfME) dan diterima oleh Departemen Pendidikan Amerika Serikat untuk program musik sekolah dan Standar Delaware untuk Musik yang dikembangkan oleh Visual dan Performing Arts Kerangka Komisi. The DMEA memberikan pengembangan profesional bagi anggota organisasi serta pendidik musik lain di negara bagian. The DMEA juga menyelenggarakan program All-Negara di Delaware. Organisasi saat ini All-Negara meliputi: Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble (12/7), SMP Band (7-9), Band Senior (10-12), Chorus SMP (7-8), Senior Campuran Paduan Suara (12/09), Chorus dan Wanita Senior yang (12/9). Industri Pendidikan
