At many universities and in other courses at MSU, students audit due to an interest in material unrelated to their degrees or to take more hours during the semester. In these cases, students normally enter the course having already signed up to audit or audit during the first weeks of the semester. CHe 201 students generally audit in the 12th or 13th week of the semester, just prior to the audit deadline, due to poor performance.
