If the Contractor suffers delay and

If the Contractor suffers delay and/or incurs Cost from
complying with the Engineer’s instructions under Sub-
Clause 8.8 [Suspension of Work] and/or from resuming the
work, the Contractor shall give notice to the Engineer and
shall be entitled subject to Sub-Clause 20.1 [Contractor’s
Claims] to:
(a) an extension of time for any such delay, if completion
is or will be delayed, under Sub-Clause 8.4
[Extension of Time for Completion], and
(b) payment of any such Cost, which shall be included in
the Contract Price.
After receiving this notice, the Engineer shall proceed in
accordance with Sub-Clause 3.5 [Determinations] to agree
or determine these matters.
The Contractor shall not be entitled to an extension of time
for, or to payment of the Cost incurred in, making good the
consequences of the Contractor’s faulty design,
workmanship or materials, or of the Contractor’s failure to
protect, store or secure in accordance with Sub-Clause 8.8
[Suspension of Work].

Jika Kontraktor menderita keterlambatan dan / atau menimbulkan Biaya dari
mematuhi petunjuk Engineer di bawah Sub
Pasal 8.8 [Suspensi Kerja] dan / atau dari melanjutkan dengan
pekerjaan, Kontraktor harus memberikan pemberitahuan kepada Direksi Pekerjaan dan
berhak dikenakan sub Klausul 20.1 [Kontraktor
Klaim] untuk:
(a) perpanjangan waktu atas keterlambatan tersebut, jika penyelesaian
sedang atau akan ditunda, di bawah Sub-Ayat 8.4
[Perpanjangan Waktu Penyelesaian], dan
(b) pembayaran atas biaya tersebut , yang harus dimasukkan dalam
Harga Kontrak.
Setelah menerima pemberitahuan ini, Insinyur harus melanjutkan
sesuai dengan Sub-Ayat 3,5 [Penentuan] setuju
atau menentukan hal ini.
Kontraktor tidak berhak untuk perpanjangan waktu
untuk, atau untuk pembayaran Biaya yang dikeluarkan dalam, membuat baik
konsekuensi Kontraktor rusak desain,
pengerjaan atau bahan, atau kegagalan Kontraktor untuk
melindungi, menyimpan atau aman sesuai dengan Sub-Ayat 8.8
[Suspensi Kerja].
