To our knowledge, this is the first study that describes the population structure of Salmonella isolates based on PFGE types and drug resistance surveillance comparing human, animal and wastewater isolates in Greece. Even though the isolates do not cover the current period, we believe that the general condition has not changed substantially over the last years and the main conclusions are still an ongoing issue. However, this work underlines the need of establishing a monitoring system in wastewater facilities in Greece.

Untuk pengetahuan kita, ini adalah studi pertama yang menggambarkan struktur penduduk Salmonella isolat berdasarkan PFGE jenis dan resistensi obat pengawasan membandingkan manusia, hewan dan limbah isolat di Yunani. Meskipun isolat tidak mencakup periode saat ini, kami percaya bahwa kondisi umum tidak berubah secara substansial selama tahun terakhir dan kesimpulan utama masih menjadi masalah yang sedang berlangsung. Namun, pekerjaan ini menggarisbawahi perlunya membangun sistem pemantauan di fasilitas air limbah di Yunani.
