3.2.4.3 Permissible changes in index
correction
Changes in index correction should be treated as
follows:
(a) A change in correction within 0.1 hPa may
be neglected unless persistent;
(b) A change in correction exceeding 0.1 hPa
but not exceeding 0.3 hPa may be provisionally
accepted unless confirmed by at least
one subsequent inspection;
(c) A change in correction exceeding 0.3 hPa may
be accepted provisionally only if the barometer
is cleaned and a spare barometer with known
correction is not available. This barometer
should be replaced as soon as a correctly
calibrated barometer becomes available.
Barometers with changes in index correction
identified in (b) and (c) above warrant close attention.
They should be recalibrated or replaced as
soon as practicable.
The same criteria apply to changes in the index
corrections of the travelling standards as those
applied as to station barometers. A change in correction
of less than 0.1 hPa may be neglected unless
persistent. A larger change in correction should be
confirmed and accepted only after repeated comparisons.
The “before” and “after” tour index
corrections of the travelling standard should not
differ by more than 0.1 hPa. Only barometers with
a long history of consistent corrections should,
therefore, be used as travelling standards.
3.2.5 Correction of barometer readings
to standard conditions
In order to transform barometer readings taken at
different times and different places into usable
atmospheric pressure values, the following corrections
should be made:
(a) Correction for index error;
(b) Correction for gravity;
(c) Correction for temperature.
For a large number of operational meteorological
applications, it is possible to obtain acceptable results
by following the barometer manufacturer’s instructions,
provided that it is clear that these procedures
give pressure readings of the required uncertainty.
However, if these results are not satisfactory or if
higher precision is required, detailed procedures
should be followed to correct for the above factors;
these procedures are described in Annex 3.A.

3.2.4.3 perubahan diijinkan indeks
koreksi
Perubahan koreksi indeks harus diperlakukan sebagai
berikut:
(a) Perubahan koreksi dalam 0,1 hPa mungkin
diabaikan kecuali terus-menerus;
(b) Perubahan koreksi melebihi 0,1 hPa
tetapi tidak melebihi 0,3 hPa mungkin akan sementara
diterima kecuali dikonfirmasi oleh setidaknya
satu pemeriksaan selanjutnya;
(c) Perubahan koreksi melebihi 0,3 hPa mungkin
diterima sementara hanya jika barometer
dibersihkan dan barometer cadang dengan diketahui
koreksi tidak tersedia. Barometer ini
harus diganti segera sebagai benar
barometer dikalibrasi menjadi tersedia.
Barometers dengan perubahan koreksi indeks
diidentifikasi dalam (b) dan (c) di atas surat perintah perhatian.
Mereka harus dikalibrasi ulang atau diganti sebagai
sesegera mungkin.
Kriteria yang sama berlaku perubahan indeks
koreksi dari standar bepergian seperti yang
diterapkan untuk barometer stasiun. Perubahan koreksi
kurang dari 0,1 hPa dapat diabaikan kecuali
terus-menerus. Perubahan besar dalam koreksi harus
dikonfirmasi dan diterima perbandingan setelah diulang.
The "sebelum" dan "setelah" Indeks tur
koreksi dari standar perjalanan seharusnya tidak
berbeda lebih dari 0,1 hPa. Hanya barometer dengan
sejarah panjang koreksi yang konsisten harus,
karena itu, digunakan sebagai standar bepergian.
3.2.5 Koreksi pembacaan barometer
untuk kondisi standar
Dalam rangka untuk mengubah pembacaan barometer diambil pada
waktu yang berbeda dan tempat yang berbeda ke dalam digunakan
nilai tekanan atmosfer, berikut koreksi
harus dibuat:
(a) Koreksi kesalahan indeks;
(b) Koreksi untuk
gravitasi;. (c) Koreksi suhu
